This week we battled some challenging weather as we had a south swell coming up from a storm in New Zealand and a high North wind.
We were crossing the channel between Molokini and Maui and thought we saw dolphins. As we approached we realized they weren't dolphins at all, but rather Melon-Head Whales!
In 27 years diving and boating in Hawaiian waters, Captain Steve Hogan has only seen them here twice. For Benja (the photographer) this was a first!
